About Us

We are the Upsilon Delta chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha. Based at California State University, Chico, we are dedicated to promoting academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and professional development in political science and criminal justice. Recognized nationally as a “Best Chapter” for multiple consecutive years and honored on campus for outstanding student programming, Upsilon Delta provides students with opportunities to engage in research, public dialogue, leadership, and career exploration beyond the classroom. Through speaker events, reading groups, research workshops, conference participation, alumni panels, and community engagement, our chapter encourages students to critically examine politics, law, public policy, and international affairs while developing the skills needed for graduate study, public service, law, and related professions. Above all, Upsilon Delta seeks to foster a collaborative community of students committed to thoughtful inquiry, civic engagement, and scholarly growth.
